Motto by Hilton – Bentonville, AR Downtown

AK Design Group provided interior design services for the guest rooms and corridors, along with full-scope FF&E procurement across the entire project, for Motto by Hilton Bentonville Downtown – a 175 room upper-midscale lifestyle micro-hotel with design-forward public spaces, compact guestrooms, and a strong connection to the surrounding neighborhood in the heart of Northwest Arkansas. Drawing inspiration from Bentonville’s identity as a world-class mountain biking destination, the design concept positions the property as an urban basecamp – a place where adventure culture and refined comfort meet. True to Motto’s linking-room concept, adjacent guest rooms connect together, opening up for flexible group travel and closing off for privacy. Each of the hotel’s compact guest rooms was thoughtfully designed to maximize both aesthetics and functionality within an average of 165 square feet.

The project spanned four years and 67,737 total square feet, navigating pandemic-related delays without compromise to the design vision. AK Design Group collaborated with an experienced project team that included Hospitality America, BGKT Architects, Nabholz Construction, The Indigo Road Hospitality Group, and Hilton Worldwide, advancing the design through Hilton’s Design Review Committee (DRC). The completed property earned AK Design Group a NEWH Top ID award in 2025 and reflects the firm’s commitment to delivering design and procurement solutions that are as practical as they are striking.
